Data Security Immersion Briefings
A 1:many immersive briefing on Microsoft 365 E5 Compliance and Purview, in two kit variants.
What this is
A 1:many event using an immersive experience to demonstrate the business value customers can achieve with Microsoft E5 Compliance. At the end of the 90-minute briefing, customers foundationally understand how these unified products work together to secure AI, reduce compliance risk, streamline investigations and safeguard sensitive information across the organisation.
- Data Security Immersion Briefing Kit — for customers licensed for Microsoft 365 E3
- Advanced Security Immersion Briefing Kit — for customers licensed for Microsoft 365 Business Premium; not a standalone engagement, these customers are nominated through the Threat Protection Immersion Briefing
What you leave with
- A foundational understanding of how the E5 Compliance products work together to secure AI, reduce compliance risk, streamline investigations and safeguard sensitive information
Who qualifies
Your commitment
- 90 minutes of attendee time
- Nothing touches your tenant; the briefing runs on Microsoft's immersion environment
- A customer attestation form after the session, which Microsoft requires as proof of delivery
How we run it
- Pick a date, and we confirm which briefing kit matches your licence position.
- The 90-minute session, run for your people. No access to your environment is needed and nothing is installed.
- A follow-up call to decide whether anything raised in the session is worth doing, and what it would cost if it is.
In and out
In the funded scope
- A foundational understanding of how the E5 Compliance products work together to secure AI, reduce compliance risk, streamline investigations and safeguard sensitive information
Not in it
- Anything in your tenant. A briefing is a session, not an evaluation: nothing is scanned, configured or deployed.
- A written assessment of your environment. If you want findings from your own tenant, that is an assessment or an envisioning workshop.
- Remediation. The engagement finds and explains; fixing what it finds is a separate engagement, quoted at our normal fixed price.
The funding, plainly
Microsoft describes this incentive as a co-investment that is not intended to cover the full cost of deployment activities. In practice, Microsoft pays us for a defined portion of this engagement; your commitment is the time and access listed above, plus any fee we state in writing before work begins. We never state Microsoft's funding amount: it varies by customer band and programme period, and quoting it would be guessing. If the programme window closes while your request is in flight, we tell you and requote the same work at our normal fixed price.
Asked before booking
Does Microsoft pay for all of it?
No. Microsoft describes the incentive as a co-investment that is not intended to cover the full cost of deployment activities. Microsoft pays us for a defined portion; your side is the time, access and any fee we state in writing before work begins.
Is this 90 minutes of sales pitch?
It is 90 minutes run to a Microsoft briefing kit, delivered by an engineer. Microsoft funds it because informed customers buy better, and we would rather you leave knowing the product does not fit than book the next thing.
What if we do not qualify?
We say so and quote the same work at our normal fixed price. The eligibility check itself costs you nothing but the conversation.
