These were significant costs for us. I think on a monthly basis we saw an overall reduction of almost $30,000 a month. For a nonprofit, that's significant.
Thanks so much, Don, for joining us today and talking about your experience with IT Partner. Could you start by telling me a little bit about your organization and your current role?
Absolutely. We're the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, a nonprofit here in the Metroplex, in Dallas, Texas. We've been in the area for over 130 years, supplying services to the community by way of health and wellness. I have been a part of the organization for about 16 years now. My responsibility is to oversee, administer, manage and maintain technology for the organization. My responsibilities have been challenging.
I know you were touching on some of the challenges you had before working with IT Partner. Could you highlight some of the main challenges and frustrations you had previously?
I think one of the primary challenges is ensuring that we've been able to achieve some of our goals with a limited budget: being able to leverage and turn over the technological goals that have been laid out, either by myself or by our board, or even by our members and our users. Knowing that our budget is what it is, it's very difficult sometimes when you've got overhead that is a couple of MSPs, or MSPs that may not have the ability to deliver what you want in the way that you want it, or the [vision] to do so, or the technical expertise to do so in a way that can meet that bottom line. One of the reasons I partnered with IT Partner is that they were able to do so at my cost point.
I have one last question for you: how likely are you to recommend IT Partner, and why should someone who's listening to this right now go ahead and work with IT Partner?
Your first question: I'm very likely. There's no reason why I would not recommend IT Partner to anyone that's interested or in need of a partner. I wouldn't even be sitting with you today if I didn't feel confident and comfortable with utilizing IT Partner as a service provider. As I said, we've had great success, and I think there's no reason why anyone else would not have great success. Primarily, the reasons that cause me to feel as confident and strong about IT Partner as a referral are, again, the competency has been demonstrated, and the ability to deliver services at a reasonable price point for a nonprofit. And if it's comfortable for a nonprofit, I think it'd be comfortable for anyone.
Thank you so much for joining us today, Don. We really appreciate your feedback.
