Azure Accelerate: Data Platform
Microsoft lists this engagement as a funding vehicle: a name, a budget line, and no published customer description. We won't write a brochure for it. Here is what we can say, and how to find out what it covers for you.
What we can say
- Nomination-gated: Microsoft approves each customer, and Azure consumption criteria apply
- Proof of delivery requires a signed template with valid Azure subscription IDs and an Azure Pricing Calculator estimate, so there must be a real, sized Azure project
- None of our currently associated customers qualifies today; getting qualified is part of the conversation
Why this page is short
Some Microsoft funding vehicles exist in the partner system with a name and nothing else published for customers. Rather than invent a description, we keep the page honest: the engagement is real, the funding is real, and what it covers is established on a scoping call against your actual workloads.
Who qualifies
Your commitment
- A real migration or modernisation project, sized before nomination
- Time from your infrastructure or application owners during delivery
- Azure consumption is billed by Microsoft to you as usual
How we run it
- A scoping call against your actual workloads. This is where a programme name becomes a defined piece of work.
- A written scope and window, including any fee on our side, before anything begins.
- Delivery against that scope. The nomination, the claim and the paperwork Microsoft wants are handled on our side.
The funding, plainly
Microsoft describes this incentive as a co-investment that is not intended to cover the full cost of deployment activities. In practice, Microsoft pays us for a defined portion of this engagement; your commitment is the time and access listed above, plus any fee we state in writing before work begins. We never state Microsoft's funding amount: it varies by customer band and programme period, and quoting it would be guessing. If the programme window closes while your request is in flight, we tell you and requote the same work at our normal fixed price.
Asked before calling
Why can't you just tell me what it includes?
Because Microsoft hasn't published it, and guessing would put words in their mouth. The scoping call is where it becomes concrete.
Is this a real engagement?
Yes. It's in Microsoft's partner incentive system with our name on the entitlement. The vagueness is theirs, not ours.
Does Microsoft pay for all of it?
No. Microsoft describes the incentive as a co-investment that is not intended to cover the full cost of deployment activities. Microsoft pays us for a defined portion; your side is the time, access and any fee we state in writing before work begins.
Why is there no published description?
Because Microsoft has not published one. Some incentive programmes exist in the partner system as a name and a budget line, with what they cover established per customer. We would rather show you a short page than a written-up guess.
What if we do not qualify?
We say so and quote the same work at our normal fixed price. The eligibility check itself costs you nothing but the conversation.
