Monthly Digital Transformation Calls for Microsoft Cloud Success

Monthly Digital Transformation Calls give your organization a recurring Microsoft cloud success session with IT Partner. Each month, we review current priorities, Microsoft 365 and Azure changes, licensing and cost questions, security and compliance opportunities, active projects, adoption challenges, and the next actions that will help your team get more value from its Microsoft investments.

What this engagement is

This is a standing monthly advisory, account-review, and technology-roadmap session for organizations using Microsoft 365, Azure, security, compliance, Copilot, Teams Phone, Intune, Power Platform, or related cloud services. Rather than waiting for a problem or renewal, your team gets a predictable working session to understand relevant Microsoft changes, solve planning blockers, review active initiatives, identify risks and optimization opportunities, and maintain a practical 30-day action plan. The agenda is tailored to your environment, priorities, licensing, projects, and business goals; it is not a generic sales check-in.

Success criteria

01Business, IT, security, finance, and operational stakeholders are aligned on the Microsoft cloud priorities that matter now.
02Relevant Microsoft roadmap, licensing, pricing, security, and product changes are translated into practical decisions for the organization.
03Licensing, adoption, security, compliance, and Azure cost opportunities are identified before they become urgent or wasteful.
04Active projects and modernization initiatives have clear blockers, decisions, owners, and next steps.
05The customer leaves each session with a focused plan for the next 30 days and knows which items belong in support or a separately scoped engagement.
06Previously assigned actions are revisited so progress and accountability continue between meetings.

What you receive

A focused agenda or topic list based on current priorities and available account context.
Review of relevant Microsoft 365, Azure, security, compliance, licensing, support, adoption, or project topics.
Practical recommendations for optimization, risk reduction, roadmap decisions, or next-step planning.
A prioritized action recap with customer and IT Partner owners when follow-up is needed.
Links to relevant Microsoft documentation or IT Partner services when they help the customer act.
Clear identification of items that require a support ticket, engineering session, assessment, quote, or separate project.

How the work unfolds

Before the call

IT Partner reviews available context such as prior action items, recent support themes, licensing changes, renewals, active projects, and relevant Microsoft roadmap items. The customer may submit questions or topics in advance.

Monthly working session

We review what changed, address current blockers and decisions, discuss relevant Microsoft updates, examine licensing, security, compliance, adoption, cost, and project priorities, and agree on the most useful next actions.

Action recap

When appropriate, IT Partner records recommendations, owners, links, and next steps, including any item that should move to support or a separately scoped engagement.

Next-month follow-through

Open actions and changing priorities are revisited at the next session so the customer maintains momentum and a current Microsoft cloud roadmap.

Prerequisites

A customer business or technology sponsor who can confirm priorities and decisions.
The right stakeholders for the planned agenda, such as IT leadership, administrators, security, compliance, finance, operations, or project owners.
Questions, blockers, upcoming renewals, active-project updates, or business goals to discuss when available.
Relevant screenshots, licensing information, reports, roadmap documents, or administrative context when a topic requires them.
Timely review and completion of agreed action items between calls.
Urgent incidents must be routed through the applicable support process rather than held for the monthly meeting.

Who does what

IT Partner

  • Prepare a focused session using available customer, licensing, support, project, and Microsoft roadmap context.
  • Explain relevant Microsoft changes in practical business and technical terms.
  • Provide advisory guidance across licensing, security, compliance, adoption, Azure, Copilot, projects, and modernization topics within the agreed agenda.
  • Capture useful recommendations, owners, and follow-up actions when appropriate.
  • Identify when a topic requires support, engineering, a formal assessment, a quote, or a separately scoped project.

Your team

  • Invite stakeholders who can provide context and make or sponsor decisions.
  • Bring current questions, priorities, project updates, concerns, and upcoming business or technology decisions.
  • Provide relevant screenshots, reports, licensing information, or administrative context when needed.
  • Review and complete agreed customer actions between sessions.
  • Use the normal support path for urgent incidents rather than waiting for the monthly call.

What's not included

Unlimited engineering work, hands-on implementation, migration, configuration, remediation, or custom development.
Emergency incident response, 24x7 monitoring, or replacement of the customer's help desk or support agreement.
Detailed architecture design, formal assessment reports, compliance certification, legal advice, or guaranteed savings.
Project management beyond the lightweight status, blocker, decision, and action review performed during the call.
Training delivery, adoption campaigns, or broad end-user workshops unless separately agreed.
Third-party vendor work, procurement, or contract negotiation unless separately scoped.

Limitations & technical notes

!The service is advisory and planning-focused. Hands-on work is handled through applicable support benefits or a separately scoped engagement.
!Microsoft licensing, product, pricing, and roadmap information changes frequently; recommendations reflect the information available at the time of the call.
!Recommendations depend on the customer context and information available during the session and do not guarantee savings, compliance, project outcomes, or implementation timelines.
!For many qualified IT Partner CSP customers, the service is included as part of the value-added partnership model. Eligibility and cadence depend on the customer's Microsoft cloud spend, support agreement, and account relationship and should be confirmed with IT Partner.
!Most sessions take 30 minutes; active projects or more complex roadmaps may require 45 to 60 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a sales call?

No. The purpose is customer success and practical Microsoft cloud planning. A discussion may identify a useful license, service, project, or optimization, but the call is designed to help your organization make better decisions and get more value from Microsoft technologies.

Is the monthly call included with our Microsoft licensing through IT Partner?

For many qualified IT Partner CSP customers, the call is included as part of the value-added partnership model. Eligibility and cadence depend on Microsoft cloud spend, the applicable support agreement, and the account relationship, so confirm the arrangement with your IT Partner account team.

How often are the calls and how long do they take?

The standard cadence is monthly. Most sessions take about 30 minutes; customers with active projects, larger environments, or strategic roadmap topics may schedule 45 to 60 minutes.

What can we cover during a Monthly Digital Transformation Call?

Common topics include Microsoft 365 licensing and renewals, Azure cost optimization, Microsoft roadmap changes, security and compliance, Intune and device management, Copilot and AI governance, Teams Phone, SharePoint and OneDrive governance, automation, adoption, migrations, and active-project decisions. The agenda is tailored to your priorities.

Who should attend?

Invite the people needed for the agenda. Typical attendees include an IT director or administrator, an executive or business sponsor, finance or procurement, security or compliance stakeholders, project owners, and the relevant IT Partner account, licensing, customer-success, or engineering specialists.

What happens if we have nothing urgent to discuss?

A quiet month is useful for reviewing Microsoft changes, upcoming renewals, licensing and cost opportunities, security posture, adoption ideas, the technology roadmap, and action items before they become urgent.

Can this replace our help desk or emergency support process?

No. Urgent break-fix issues and end-user support should use the applicable support process. The monthly call is for proactive review, planning, prioritization, and advisory guidance.

Can a monthly call lead to implementation work?

Yes. If a discussion identifies hands-on work, IT Partner will recommend the appropriate support path, included benefit, engineering session, assessment, or separately scoped project before that work begins.
