## Licensing rules that matter

- Windows Server Standard and Datacenter are licensed per core: minimum 16 cores per server and 8 per processor, sold as core packs.
- Every user or device that touches the server also needs a Windows Server CAL; Remote Desktop use needs RDS CALs on top.
- Send us your host and user counts with the quote request — we confirm the core and CAL math before you pay for anything.

## How to buy

Quote-only: request via the contact form (https://o365hq.com/contact) or the MCP build_quote tool. A human verifies core/CAL math and segment eligibility before anything is ordered — software orders are far less reversible than seat subscriptions. Nonprofit/education prices require Microsoft eligibility on the tenant. Book the founder directly: https://o365hq.com/book
